No Soup for You
Today I decided I wanted to make some soup. So I made just over a gallon of groundnut beef stew and just over a gallon of butternut squash and apple soup. After munching on a lot of it and saving a bit in the fridge, I have six hearty servings of each in the freezer, waiting for my hunger to return.
I really enjoyed cooking today. It's been about a month since I really spent a good three or four hours in a kitchen cooking, and it's something I really want to do more. Luckily, my four day weekends should allow at least one or two grand cooking afternoons per week.

Isn't cooking--when you really have the time for it--so gratifying? I love it.
